Research on GLONASS

Basic directions:

• Development of navigation and telematic services on the basis of positioning services.
• Conducting research of methods of positioning in complicated conditions on the basis of the comprehensive use of satellite navigation systems, pseudo satellites and networks of mobile communications.
• Training and consulting in the field of positioning and navigation systems.

Solved problems. Works undertaken in these directions will contribute to:

• improve the efficiency of commercial use of GLONASS and other satellite navigation systems;
• improve the accuracy and reliability of coordinate and time support to solve tasks of different users;
• introduce in mass information services for cellular subscribers.
